Hi Everyone!,

I haven't done much on this site to help you this past year because I assumed that Soren was taking care of the website as he has faithfully done over the years.

Lon Rombough suggested we take up a collection for Soren because he needs a new computer in order to work online.  It seems he's really gotten his money's worth with his old computer, and has never received any compensation for his time and energy for the original grapebreeders website, nor this one.  Being Thanksgiving time, it seems like an appropriate time to be grateful for Soren's contributions...

We have a functioning donation button on this site and will be taking up a collection for Soren until we have enough to provide him with an adequate machine, and I promise to let you know exactly how much we raise for him and also put up a notice once we have enough funds.  We do not want to hold on to any excess of funds under any circumstances.

Grape that you stopped by!  We expect that with a little help from the breeders that we'll be able to host the new grapebreeders mailing list at this site (which will replace the Ibiblio list),

Reorganize all of the content that Soren Larsen saved over the years and has available on this domain at http://www.grapebreeders.org/Gb/Designside2.htm 

Add.....many other useful things for us to organize grapebreeding information with, such as a really nice

Photo Gallery...not only for our use but to allow sales of our photos for members wishing to make their photos availbable for sale, and 

Every other feature we could use, such as Forums, Chat, Classifieds, Links Directory and File downloads.

The website will cover its expenses thru donations by the grapebreeders and by a small google advertisement only.
